One of the easiest ways
to connect with people at Hope Fellowship is through the study of God’s Word.
Adults can choose from a traditional Sunday School class or an Adult Bible
Fellowship (ABF) on Sunday mornings. Both types of class include a Bible
lesson and time for visiting and prayer, but the ABFs usually have more
discussion time. You will find opportunities to join in the community of
fellowship at Hope by attending one of these informal classes. Classes begin at
9:15 AM.
Each Adult Bible Fellowship is organized around the life stage of its participants.
There are currently four ABF classes and a traditional Sunday School class. You will feel comfortable in these classes. The Adult Bible Fellowship is planned
with you, our guest, in mind. The first ten minutes we chat and visit with one another so
that you can meet some of us and we can meet you. We will all wear name tags so we can get
to know each others name. We do not assume that you know anything about the Bible
when you come, so things will not be "over your head". If you do not have
a Bible we normally will have the Bible verses we are studying printed on a handout. We
will not call on you to read, pray or answer a question, although you are certainly
welcome to volunteer to do any of those things. We do a lot of group discussion guided by
those who lead the class.
