What To Expect

It is our desire for you to feel welcome and right at home from the moment you walk through the door at Hope Fellowship Church. Whether you need an adult class recommendation, a Bible, help in getting an infant, child or teen placed into a class with their peers, or want additional information about the church, our greeters will be nearby to help. Mark Swirsky, Senior Pastor, gives messages that explain the scriptures in ways that help you deal with real life issues. Praise and worship takes place in a relaxed and casual atmosphere, with vibrant, contemporary music, and messages that help with day to day living.

What To Do Next

Here are some of the next steps to become connected to Hope Fellowship:

  • Join an Adult Bible Fellowship Sunday morning at 9:30 AM while your children attend the Children’s Sunday School, the Junior High or Senior High class. Information on all groups can be found on the back of your worship program.
  • Join a life group that meets during the week. Information on all life groups is located at the Guest Information counter in the lobby on the left side as you face the street.
  • Become a member by notifying Pastor Mark that you want to join and attend one of the periodically scheduled Welcome to Hope classes announced in the worship program.
  • Fill out the white connection card in your worship program if you have a prayer request, want more information, or would like to speak to someone on the church staff. Put the connect card in the offering or give it to one of the Care Ministry hosts standing near the Guest Information counter after the worship service.

You may send them or not. We will provide directions for picking them up during the worship service. There is a glass enclosed community center off the lobby and right outside the worship center where you can sit and listen to the worship service if you need to care for an unhappy child.

Yes. We expect our guests to check us out. We don’t expect you to believe everything we do. If you decide to become a member of Hope Fellowship you will have to agree with our Statement of Faith which you can review in the section under beliefs in the “about” tab of this website and you will need to agree with the Bible’s teaching on moral issues.

No. We explicitly state during the offering that we do not expect our guests to give to the church and that you are welcome to simply pass the offering when the collection container comes to you. If you wish to give you may, but we do not want our guests to feel obligated to give.

Yes, we are, although it may not feel like it to you.  We are members of the Evangelical Free Church of America, which is a very loose confederation of churches that have united together to pursue common goal. Hope Fellowship is self-governed.
