The small groups at Hope Fellowship are a key component of the church’s disciple-making ministry.  The goal of our small group ministry is to build communities where relationships are developed such that we are encouraged to fulfill the six purposes of the church:  Worship, Fellowship, Discipleship, Service, Evangelism and Missions.  We believe that spiritual growth happens in the context of relationships and that small groups are a key method of helping develop relationships among fellow believers.

Goals for 2009-10:

1. Conduct a Fall 2010 Small Group Leader’s Training Class.
2. Establish a small group targeting either young married couples or those in their 20s and 30s.
3. Expand the Small Group Ministry team to 4 people.
4. Conduct training on servant evangelism and facilitate small groups conducting servant evangelism projects.
5. Meet at least quarterly with existing small group leaders to provide support and direction to them as they lead their groups.
