Daughter of Truth (Sr. High Girls Small Group)

Location: Anna Bertheau’s House (305 Huckleberry Dr., Lake Jackson, Texas 77566)

Leaders: Jacquin Rogers, Victoria Holderness, and Sonia Nimtz

Topic: The ladies will be reading through “A Young Woman’s Walk with God: Growing More like Jesus” while spending time going through Galatians.

Sons of Thunder (Sr. High Guys Small Group)

Location: Danny & Nancy Cramer’s House (102 Cardinal St., Lake Jackson, Texas 77566)

Leaders: Eldon Baumeister and John Holderness

Topic: The guys will be going through “Habitudes 4: The Art of Changing Culture.”

reNEW (Monthly, Mid‐Week Youth Gathering)

Date: Third week of the month. It will be on Thursday nights (unless a conflict arises).

Time: Doors open at 5:30PM (For fellowship/hanging out/doing homework/etc.)

Worship/Teaching (Actual event) will be from 6:45‐8PM. I will be leaving at 8:30

so please make plans to go home by then.

Location: Catalyst Youth Center

Leaders: Jason & Jacquin Rogers with various guests.

Topic: We will be going through a Francis Chan Series named “Courage”.

Sunday School

Time: Sundays from 9:15‐10:30AM. Please make every effort to be on time.
Topic: Sr. High ‐Book of Luke. Jr. High Book of Mark.
Note: We serve some kind of breakfast (donuts, koloches, tacos, etc.) on the first
Sunday of the month. This is first come first serve and when we are out we are out.

Catalyst Bible Challenge

Many of the youth expressed a desire to get into the word and have some accountability with that. Starting at the beginning of school I challenged them to start reading through the New Testament (5 Chapters a week). There is a Facebook page that I daily try to write out some things that I got from the reading and where we are in the challenge. Please encourage your youth to keep it up. If you would like to be part of the Facebook page let me know and I will get you an invite.

Weekly Prayer

Every week I ask the youth to pray for a particular topic where ever they are at 6PM on Wednesdays. The plan is to start sending out reminders through text, Facebook, and email. If you want to be part of this prayer time I will keep a sign‐up in the Youth area.

Catalytic Conversion (Youth Worship Team)

We will have practice in October on the 16th, and 23rd from 3‐5PM. This is a Youth

Thursday (Oct 13) -
- Catalyst Bible Challenge - Mark Ch.11
- SOT - 7-9 PM
  - Covering the first chapter of Habitudes 4.
  - Cramer's got the grub.

Sunday (Oct 16) -
- Sunday School - 9:15-10:30
  - Sr. High - Luke Ch.3-4
  - Jr. High - Book of Mark
- Catalytic Conversion Practice -3-5 PM
  - I will get some music out this week.

Family Kickball - October 29th
- We will be having a family game of kickball and hot dog cook out on October 29th. Contact Jason Rogers if you would be available to help in any way. More details coming soon.
