Women of Hope Retreat 2024

What does it mean to "worship"?   Is it just sitting and reading Psalms out loud and singing praise music?   No!  It certainly can include those things, but living our lives as an act of worship to a holy God is so much more.  And it's not always easy in our different seasons of life or when things are not all that we hoped they would be.

Please join us as we learn about the object of our worship, how it shapes us, and the most effective ways to find a heart that wants to esteem God above ourselves and our little idols.

Our Speakers

Nina Daniels

Nina attended Hope Fellowship from 2014-2019.  She helped in Children's, Women's, Pinterest, Outreach, and Life Group Ministries in her short time here. Nina now lives in Beaumont where she continues to serve the Lord at her church and Bible Study Fellowship, including her role as the substitute teaching leader. Her commitment to love God and love people has made a kingdom impact on everyone who knows her.  She has been married to Tim for 17 years and they have 2 daughters, Chloe-14, and Brooklynn-11.   In her free time, she likes baking with her kids, making jam, camping, hiking, and enjoying God's nature and creation.

Michelle Deavenport

Michelle became the Executive Director of the Pregnancy Help Center (PHC) of Brazosport in 2022.   Before her current position at the PHC, she was the children’s director at Hope Fellowship for 9 years where she has been a member since 1997. Michelle was able to complete her college degree as a single mom of 5 children and she considers raising her children to be adults that she enjoys spending time with, one of her greatest achievements. To relax, she likes to cook, bake bread, or make jam while listening to podcasts and audiobooks.
